Task 6 - Instant Messaging

dskins09 (10:26:40 am): hello?
(10:26:40 am)Merna is no longer signed on.

pvld007 wasn't working. I sent a message to Merna.

The buddy list is your contact list. Taking this to the next level. We might
try and set up online chat within the district. Would be useful for quick
communication between central and the branches.

Task 8 - Explore YouTube.com

username: dskins

Youtube is popular because the modern world is producing a society with a 5 minute attention span... and most of the videos here are shorter than that.

We can use it as a publishing platform to make our own videos.

Task 3 - Use RSS

Bloglines is pretty cool. RSS lets me log in once and track what's new on so many websites.

Some of my favorite feeds:

National Geographic
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/index.rss

CSS Beauty
http://www.cssbeauty.com/rss/news/

Apple News
http://images.apple.com/main/rss/hotnews/hotnews.rss

Also check out newsgator.com... the other popular web based RSS service.
